  • What is the special majority?

  • There is no mention in the Constitution about the time frame within which the president can send back a bill for reconsideration. This will enable President to withhold the bill with himself without giving assent. This is called a pocket veto. If the President sends back the bill and it is passed again by the Parliament then the President cannot restrain from giving assent.
